Yes, your car will be fine with stock suspension and aftermarket lowering springs. Lowering springs only cost like $200 for a set, not that expensive. Go to
www.optionimports.com and get like an Eibach Prokit or H&R Sport Springs, depending on how low you wanna drop your car.
