lowering the car

i just bought a 96 prelude, i want to lower it, but i dont want to spend all the money on shocks and springs because i have a project car that most of my money goes into. would it be practical to just put lowering springs on the car without new shocks? would the stock shocks hold up with the new springs in daily driving?

Yes, your car will be fine with stock suspension and aftermarket lowering springs. Lowering springs only cost like $200 for a set, not that expensive. Go to www.optionimports.com and get like an Eibach Prokit or H&R Sport Springs, depending on how low you wanna drop your car.

someone on here said that if you drop your car your shocks will go bad within 2 years or something. it was just recently discussed just look it up.
