stalls,backfires until warm.............
posted this on a previous post, has anyone with similar problem found solution ?
have had this problem stalling until warm up for a while. when i 1st start it, it runs a few seconds then dies. start again and idles rough, finally idle smooths out, but if i try to drive it until warmed up good, it backfires through engine. once warmed up it runs good. checked all hoses and fittings , no vaccum leaks. replaced IAC. plugs and wires ok. |

our GM had the same problem. Sent to the shop they said the throttle body needed to be cleaned. But started shortly after a fill-up, but lasted thru 3 tanks of gas. we arent sure if we got water in the gas or what, but it stopped its problem shortly before going to the shop. could just be a bad run of gas in yours too
