Help setting up my amp

I am new into car audio... I just got a nice system made by Blaupunkt, amp, subs and a cd deck. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right directsion in setting the amp up so it sounds good and not like sh*t. I was wondering how I should adjust the high/low pass, grain, and the bass levels. Any help I would love.

I'd have to knowa lot more about how it's all connected before I could even begin. Tuning is a lot more difficult than wiring ... and a lot more rewarding too.
