turning an auto into a manual

Hey. i have an 88 cutlas ciera. i hate driveing a auto, its no fun at all. so my question to you all is what would be involved in turning it into a manual? i would jsut buy anouther can thats stick but i dont have that kinda money.

how much do you think it would cost me to do this?

and would it even be worth it?

It wouldn't be worth it.. however, depending on your engine, you might be able to take one of the more rare manual trannies for the 1st gen W bodies. Go to www.w-body.com to find your engine and the matching tranny, then www.car-part.com who might be able to offer you a used/rebuilt tranny.
If your engine isn't campatable... ..you're pretty much S.O.L...sry
