ported box design
I have designed a box for my 12" type r and was wondering does it matter where i put the port hole...? i know i have to tune it with the length of the hole but can i put them on the both sides on the opposite side of one another for the design aspect of it? or can the not face one another...
it woudl look kind of like this... Code:

when i built my box i put the ports in the front so the sound waves could more easily bounce off the back and out the front. but i'm not sure if they can face one another or not. make sure the back wall is not parallel to the sub woofer so there isn't any distortion and you get better bass output.
