Mustang GTR

I did a drawing of this car a while ago.
Here is a ps rendering wip.
Have to add color and hilights and work
on the wheels and glass. Sofar I like
the grill area the best. I like how the gtr
did away with those big round headlights.
I think the stock lights look bad and
look kind of cheap.

ref pic!

Re: Mustang GTR

nice progress. The only thing is your grill, it sees to be like glass, really shiny. But I really like it as it is!
Keep up the excellent work bro!

Re: Re: Mustang GTR

Thanks for the reply N2OZeBozz.

Here is a nudder update. Still got to work on the hilights and wheels/tires.
What bothers me most is that coloring on the back fender. Looks smutty.

Re: Mustang GTR

Great job on that, when you are completely done with it, let me know, i would like to print it out and frame it for my model work area, need some inspiration now and then. Keep it up man!

Edit: I was going to pm you about this, but i see you have the function disabled. How do you do one of these? Is there a tutorial or you just make it up as you go, either way i would like to try this!

Re: Re: Mustang GTR

When I finish it up - I would be very happy to send you a
higher res version.
I'm glad you like it!
My work is really bootleg.
I use many layers in photoshop and the airbrush and selection tool.
Same technique as some comic colorists. If I find a tutorial on my drive -
I will send it to ya. I think there is a pdf or something from a few
years ago. Not about cars but it still works as a
guide. My style mostly came from just screwing around in
photoshop. (For a few years )
