Hey dont know if anyone has had this problem, but my Passenger side window is very hard to put up (once it gets half way) the bottom half is no problem, you get it half way up and its really hard. Any ideas?

you didnt say if you have power windows, but if you do it sounds like the power window motor & cable assembly is junk! Mine went on my 2000 sierra at 50,000 miles. you can get an aftermarket unit at 1A auto.com for 80 bucks.

Re: Passenger side window

Make sure window is not binding in track.

Re: Passenger side window

I have a 88 sierra 2500. every time my son borows it something breaks. The last time it was the passenger side power indow. It went down but wouldn't go up. The bigest problem was in the driver door where the main power wire fed into about a dozen others. The passenger side is controlled from driver side. The power wire is soldered to a gang of other wires, each one feeding a seperate switch in the side panel and returns through another wire in enother harness to the passenger door. This could have been easier if they had daisy chained the switches. This is the second time I have had to repair this splice. I don't have time to deal with it now. But when I do I will lengthen every wire in this circuit so the harness plugs do not meet in the flex tube between the door and the jam.
