2004 Ranger with Bad Fuel injector...

I own a 2004 Ranger with 18000 miles on it. It started Missing and acting like it had water in the gas. I stopped at a Ford garage and they hooked it up and although the "Miss" was noticeable they decided it must be water in the gas. I put dry gas in it but that didn't help. I also added some fuel Injector cleaner and it didn't help either. I made an appointment at another Ford garage and at first they thought it was an Valve Spring that was broken. Later in the day they decided it was a Bad Injector. They checked into ordering it and told me that none were available and it was on a "Emergency National Backorder". Needless to say it has been over 3 weeks and still no parts. I called Ford's Customer Service number earlier this week and they said they were going to check into it and someone would call me back with in 3 business days. well I am waiting. Has anyone else had this type of problem? Thanks
