2.2l vs. 2.4l

i have a 2.2l but i was thinking about a 2.4l motor swap which is better. i want the bigger deplacement but i dont have the money for a new motor at this time. and plus i heard that the 2.2l has a better tranny is that true?

Re: 2.2l vs. 2.4l

The auto trannys are 4t40e for all the years 98+ 2200 2.4L. The older 2.2 were 3 speed autos. If you have a manual... 00+ are getrag 99- isuzu..... go with the getrag.
