turbine housing options

as some of you may know my 14b recently took a turn for the worst....i was going to get a new 14b but i was looking around and i found this.. http://linux.forcedperformance.net/m...egory_Code=DSM

i ordered it thursday still hasnt came yet tho...

the 14b turbine housing i have is not in the best condition...mild build up about 90k miles on it...for now i have to throw it on , but later down the road i want to upgrade my turbine housing when i get my turbo-back exhaust. i was shooting to get a evo3 7cm housing, but what is my best option for the 18g that can stay around the same price range?
my second question is , what do you think a max boost level would be on the 18g before my injectors max out? my mods are below.. remember i have a SMIC, stock exhaust, and stock fuel system....

Re: turbine housing options

you have dsmlink so there is no guesswork for how much boost you can run on stock fuel. I'd keep it under 105% duty.

Re: turbine housing options

Your current housing should be fine. Its not really a wear item. Over time it developes some cracks, but most are normal and do not have a measurable effect on performance. You can pick up 6cm housings for 20 bucks in good shape, 7cm (recomended) are a little harder to come by, but they are out there (anyone witha blown 16g has one that is proably collecting dust and would be worth 40-50 bucks I'd say). I dont know what bosot level your injectors will max out at, but it will be around 33 pounds/min (see other recent turbo thread) best case scenario. That turbo will probably do 40-42 pounds, but I have never run one so I can't say for sure. Like Wagon said, your best bet is to log.
