Fogged Headlamp.

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I have a question for you. The right headlamp on my 1995 Eagle Talon Tsi has fogged over and I don't know how to fix it. I would rather not have to buy a new headlamp, so if there are any suggestions please help me. I've already tried Windex and things of that sort, but nothing has happened.
Thanks for any help.

Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish You can pick it up at any Walmart or probably any grocery store in the car section. Its a little tiny white bottle. Just spend about 30 mins rubbin that junk on and the fog should come off the outside and if its in the inside then you'll have to either take the unit apart or pull out the lights so the inside can defog.

Re: Fogged Headlamp.

is the problem that the lens has turned milky or is it just dew inside the lamp,if so it is milky go to the shoe section in walmart and pic up some brasso, take a rag and wipe it on the lens repeatedly,i promise that will cure your problem

I had that problem and I used 1500 and 2000 grit wet sand paper (1500 first and then 2000 because its not as course) to take off the etching on the outside of the plastic lens, make sure you use plenty of water because they call it wet sand paper for a reason. After scrubbing the crap out of it for about 20 minutes the lens was obviously better when it was wet but when it dried there were noticeable tiny scratches. The way to get rid of this is to take some Maguires Plastx Cleaner and just scrub this stuff in with a towel until you feel satisfied with how it looks this should take only but a few minutes for the Plastx Cleaner, 10 minutes is a good amount of time to spend on this repair. The whole process took me and hour for two headlights so it should take you about 30 minutes. All together I think the materials I used came to about $10 and I picked the stuff up at Advanced Auto Parts and I'm sure any other parts place should have it also. Good Luck and believe me it's plenty worth it.
