Question 95 Chevy mods??????

Just got a 95 Chev 1500 5 speed and I was wondering what are the best mods you can do to get the bang for the buck on the engine. Nothing is done now besides graphics and wheels from the other owner. What have you done to yours. Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: 95 Chevy mods??????

Six cylinder or Eight--305 or 350?
I have Shorty Headers, performance chip, lower backpressure exhaust, K&N, Throttle body spacer, larger radiator.

Re: 95 Chevy mods??????

High flow ram-air intake, exhaust with headers (long tubes make more power but are hard to find and pricy), TBS,ummm....Nitrous is the cheapest real power you can get.....

Re: 95 Chevy mods??????

Air filters and exhaust mods are the cheapest and easiest to do. Good power gains in a timely manner.

I have a '93 shortbed with a 350 5-speed, I rebuilt the engine with a larger camshaft (204/214, .420/.442), K&N filter, fuel pressure regulator set at 15-16 psi, shorty headers, basic free-flow exhaust. If I can solve takeoff traction problems, I will be trashing 4.6 mustangs. Took the truck out today and did 135 (used the tachometer past 85). But I ran out of road... I'd say the combo works pretty well.
