Freeway BATTLE!!!!
SO there I was, in the RELIC crusing down the 210 leaving Tujunga...and I see a black shape surface from an onramp. It had a strange wing, and hood scoop. Having almost dismissed it, I see it jump forward and hear an unusuall sound...BASS! Not from speekers but from the beautiful exaust note. I look over to see its a brand new GTO with the papers from the deal still on it. I have to go for it.
I catch up, the three in the beast look over, well dressed buisness types. They chuckle when they see the RELIC. That is untill I reach over, and click the boost up to 18psi. I'm in 4th at the time, at about 3.5K rpm. I push it, and let off sounding the hiss of DEATH letting them know I was ready to fight them to the END! Or at least untill one of us won and the other gave up and went on their way. Without a warning he downshifts and hits it. He took long enough downshifting that I took it down to 3rd and hit it. We took off about the same time, and we both pulled right along the 210. 4k, 5k, 6k, 7k, 8k Shift, hiss and into 4th gear. Im pulling past, my nose is just past his. Ripping down I heard him shift somewhere in all the noise. Cars looked like they were in reverse as the RPM's climbed through 4th right up into 5th. I had two and a half lengths now, and slowly grabed more distance, untill he slamed onto his brakes pulling back hard, I downshifted and and let a fireball SMITE him from the RELIC'S tail. They wouldnt come alongside me after that, but in my rear view I saw it clear as day.... They were shamed that their new car, lost to a RELIC

you running the stock L24 in that Z or did you swap it with the L28 (making it a 280z) and turbo it? is it single or twin? If so your my hero? whats its 0-60? 0-100? sorry for the questions but im getting close to turboing my Z soon !! hope i get good results like you did! good luck with that Z dont crash it.
EDIT 0 - 60 mph [secs] 5.3 0 - 100 mph [secs] 12.9 1/4 mile [secs at mph] 13.8 at 103.8 on the 04 GTO man that Z is fast dowg !!!! those have 350 hp now i read the new ones like the one you ran into have this now Engine, 6.0L V8 SFI aluminum (400 HP [297.9 kW] @ 5200 rpm, 400 lb-ft [539.9 N-m] @4000 rpm) MAN SHAMFUL!~!! LOOSING TO A RELIC HAHAHAAHAA Oh no its a RB engine like a RB20 whats your problem man you wanna be as fast as that DEVIL Z foo you will never be as cool with that RB in there !!! |

whhha you guys got some nice Z's but none of them is a L28 3.1 twin turbo 620 hp <_< trust me it be the fastest car on the highway!!! L28 is special!!! i think well thats what it says in that manga at least !!!!
okay cool cool how much does it cost to do that kinda swap im only a teen you know i am not that hard core i am barely breaking 80 mph at the moment with my crummy taken care of 1983 280zx that i just lightly modfied and now its doing 100 with ease compared to before but i need new tires well back to burger fliping another nights pay for those.
