My 94 grand caravan keeps blowing the fuse for the cooling fan and then if I get into a lot of traffic it will over heat any suggestions?????

Re: 94 dodge caravan blowing fan fuse

It sounds like the fan motor may be going bad and causing it to draw too much current from the system blowing the fuse. Contact a local wrecking yard and see if they have one to replace it. You can purchase a new one from the dealer but they are very expensive.

Not cheap if you go new , looking at at least $300 for the part and maybe a couple hours labor . With the engine off try spinning the fans and see if they rotate freely ,if there is any binding at all then the fan is probably shot and blowing the fuse .
