Re: Spray engine

I used a super consentrated mixture of Simple Green and water.

Then wipe off the caked on grease and finish it up with using some armorall on the hoses.

Re: Spray engine

What happens if the spark plugs or anything electrical gets wet? Oh can anyone (if anyone has already) sell me a custom made intake?

Re: Spray engine

oops forgot to add what needs to be covered...

If you have a short-ram intake cover the filter. Other wise get a hose and wet that bitch down. Spray the SG all over the place everywhere you possibly can. Let sit for 10-15 min and rinse off with hose till no more suds are around. Then use the rag and wipe eveything off. As for the spark plug ports, get a shop vac and suck the water out or use a straw and don't suck the water all the way in your mouth. For intakes...

www.rdfabs.com Custom welded stainless steel intakes.

If you have any questions/sales contact [email protected] or you can also order through the website if you like. Just mention to him i send you to him.

or ask me if you rather.

Re: Spray engine

Yes i have the CAI for the 98-02 sunfire/cavalier. I started off with just the WAI from them becuase i found their company on JBO 2 yrs ago and ever since then i will stand behind their business. Great bunch of guys and friends. We just got our lift in the shop too, so this is going to make stuff more fun...

Um... more like a good friend of the buisness. I don't have any offical position or w/e , just go out there to help them out with stuff. Like when the shop was actualling being built i was out there helping chris and Ryan cut insulation and hang it. Then help them hang the tin ceiling and also help wire for the canopy lights. The buisness consists of

Ryan the owner/fabricator
Chris sales rep/ polisher + loose ends
Adam Sales rep/polisher + loose ends

me... Promotion i guess + what ever i can help with.

Re: Spray engine

Little less than that... Start with the short ram if you like. You can always upgrade with the CAI extension. THats what i did becuase i was unfamilar with the buisness. But since i loved what i recived, i went the whole 9 yards... Lets just say before anything leaves the shop Ryan makes sure there is NOTHING wrong with them. Last time i was out there i was using a dremel to remove some caked on gunk from the warehouse that got inside one of the intakes.. So yea, if its not up to 100% par it gets fixed, polished to glass shine.

You did all that work to help them, and they didn't hook you up with at least a free intake? Did thay pay you? Sounds like you're doing a lot for nothing it you say no to both of those.

Re: Spray engine

I am not going to discuss what i paid because its less than a customer would pay. I also get a place to work on my car and usage of a lift fo free. Also Ryan is a great technition so an extra set of hands for help with large problems.

Well I figured you paid considerably less, and if anyone really takes the time to bitch about how much you paid, then tell them that they weren't there to help in the shop. But use of the lift and extra help on your car is cool. I was just under the impression you did all that work for them and they didn't do anything for you. You got a good deal in my opinion. I just wish someone would make a shop like that around here. I'd love to help out and learn as much as possible. I'd have too much fun in a place like that though.
