Angry fooked bmw

WAS HOPING FOR SOME HELPi drive a bmw 320i convertable 36 and has been wonderfull however things have gone wrong, here goes about 6 weeks ago the bleeding thing heated up i let it go cold and refilled it it went hot again,so i removed the thermostat then refilled and everything was good again until last week when it heated up again i toook it to my fathers friends garage.when i went to collect it and was informed that there had been a leak on the lower hose and he replaced the thermostat i was told that the car had been left to tick over for an hour and it was ok,so i went to manchester then went to sheffield and everything was brilliant then today with the glorious weather i went for a drive 20 mins from my house it started missing on one of the pots but remained on half on the temp so i thought it may have dragged a bit of shit through so i switched over from economy box to sports box and i got a light on the dash saying about electrical transmition and a smell of horror so i pulled over and waited ten minutes i then restarted the car its still missing on the pot but the light had gone out and it remained on half temp i got home and the radiator was expanding due to the heat i was going to undo the cap but with the pressure behind it i thought better not, heres the question AS THE HEAD GASKET GONE
