Got my parts...Next will I begin the motor build.

So I have everything exept a gasket and a couple of unanswered questions. Here is what I now have: (Sorry no pics yet, next week)

-ZC head resurfaced with valve job & seals
-Standard size low compression pistons (NPR)
-Nippon Racing 3-Layer head gasket
-KING rod bearings
-felpro exhuast, intake gaskets & felpro gasket set for valve cover/head.

What I need:
-Timing belt
-Oil pan gasket

Questions:

Should I get a new water pump?
I was thinking about getting an OBX adjustable cam, good idea?

yes on the water pump. im guessing you meant an adjustable cam gear? you should only get it if you have a means to check the effects that adjusting has given you. because if you just get it and adjust it without dynoing it, you may just lose power

yes, definetly get a new water pump, the more parts you
replace on the motor the better since there will be less of a chance for a old part to fail.
