temperature sending unit won't come off

hi does anybody know hot to remove the coolant temperature sending unit connector, can't seem to get it off.

i know its in a tight spot, practice on the intake air temp sensor, they have the same connectior. there is the thiner side where the retainer tabs are, and a thicker side, squeeze the thicker side in and the tabs should release.



if you look closely, the thicker sides even have a few little ribs to make it easyer to grab.
