1999 Yukon won't start
Had my Yukon for 6 years with no problem whatsoever.
Last week, a few times it would not idle up after start, running real rough for a few seconds, then ok. Kind of wanted to stop. Other times it idle up more than normal right away after starting. Now when I try to start, it acts like it wants to, but won't. I can hear my fuel pump run for a few sec so it seem like it's working. Is it not getting fuel? Just want to get an idea before I take it into a service station. Tom |

Re: 1999 Yukon won't start
Hi Tom, this really needs to be looked at.
Could be fuel, ignition or a bunch of other things. Do you have any DTC? Take care, Eggert

Re: 1999 Yukon won't start
Eggert - My son had similar type of problems. At the first start of the day, his will take about 20 cranks before it starts some times and then maybe 2. But when it does start, it will start and continue to start all day. I told him his fuel pressure was dropping over night when it sat. SOunds right?
