new clutch question
how do i break in my new clutch and flywheel? and for how many miles do i do this for? i am picking up my car at the shop tommorow. i installed a clutchmasters stage 1 clutch 1200lbs, and a 8lb fidanza flywheel

Drive the car normal for 500 miles. 8lb flywheel sucks on the street.

are you serious? i didnt drive the car yet. why does 8lb suck? should i switch to a 11lb flywheel?

I say stick around 12lbs for the street. In order to have smoth shifts you will need to clutch differntly, which burns up the clutch and may warp the flywheel.

let me know how you like that clutch i gotta install one in my car and im not sure which clutch i want yet...i used exedy before and act i was gonna go act but let me know how the clutchmasters works
