Looking for TB parts

Hey guys... I've been looking for some parts for my two dsm. I need a TPS for 90 GSX and a ISC for a 95-99 GSX. The only places I've found them so far are from dealers and was kinda hoping somebody had they laying and would sell them to me cheap.. Thanks.

Re: Looking for TB parts

If I remember correctly, www.crebotech.com sells rebuilt ISCs. The TPS could probably be bought at auto parts stores. If not, hopefully someone has an extra. No one wants 90 TBs, so there have to be some around for 0-5 bucks I'd imagine

Edit> I'm also pretty sure I've interchanged 91-94 ISCs with 95-99s. That might open up some more oppurtunities. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Looking for TB parts

Was just wondering, but how hard is it to put a 91-94 TB on my 90?

Re: Looking for TB parts

I believe it requires a complete rewiring. But I've seen 90 cars converted before, so its doable. I wonder if tehre is a vfaq for it.

Re: Looking for TB parts

ISC and TPS are quite different from 91-94 model years, and you can't use them on 2Gs becuase of the vacuum circuitry. Parts on the 91-99s are interchangeable, despite thier minor differences.

Re: Looking for TB parts

Yup... I've run into this problem seems like everytime I turn a corner. You want anything sensor or anything on the TB, autozone (or any place like that) will try and sell you one that will only work on 91-94. Guess that's the downside to owning a vintage, lol.

Re: Looking for TB parts

Hey Kevin, have you ever ordered anything from CREBOtech? I ordered that ISC and they charged me thru paypal, but I never got any sort of email or anything telling me when it would be shipped. Just curious, thanks.

Re: Looking for TB parts

Unfortunately I never have. Hopefully you'll hear from them soon. That website has been up forever, but I can't recall the last time I heard someone order from them. I'm sure you'll hear from them soon enough... Many of these 1 man shops just dont have the time for emailing, too busy building. Hopefully thats the case
