What, no one yet?
No one has commented on the runaway bug-eyed "bride" who caused the essential media stir by claiming she was abducted? Especially since she just signed a deal for a movie about her lame-ass "story" {insert the boo-hoo, I JUST couldn't handle it anymore lines}
And the silly, nose-ringed jerk who so GLADLY forgave her, what a girly-man. I'd have just said , well this is NOT going to happen, hit the road, and you go figure out how to pay for all the search money spent to find your bug-eyed face while you lied to everyone until caught out. Dayum!!! What is wrong with people???????????? |

Re: What, no one yet?
I never considered it a news worthy story to begin with. Tabloid yes. Real news no. Anyone who pays to go see her movie is even more pathetic than her.
BTW about the forgiveness guy. I would forgive my wife for probably just about anything. I know they weren't married yet so it is a little different. He definitely should wait things out to make sure she doesn't change her mind again!

Re: What, no one yet?
I totally agree, that girl has something very unstable going on about her. But at least she figured out a way to get some major $$$$$$$$$ out of her silly crap. So I guess she can pay off her "bill" and retire happy.
I think there is a marketing plan afoot, I am going to market the plan on the Internet, I'll bet I make money. Tam's sure-fire way for wanna-be brides riddled with angst to make money by causing a media frenzy, abductor car and bus-ticket included. Sheesh |

Re: What, no one yet?
I didnt check up on the story day after day because I was so intrigued by it but since I live a couple hours away it was on the news every night. What seems to me what happened is these people were going to get married, the bride got cold feet and freaked out and ran off, the family over reacted by filing a missing persons report and convinving the police to begin searching for the missing person days before they were supposed to. Bride realizes that what she did was probably a mistake so she calls fiance and tells him she has been kidnapped not realizing that her entire town of duluth (whose waffle house has the best waffle house coffee ever) freaked out and went on a giant search for her.
I dont see where she did anything wrong aside from telling her fiance that she was kidnapped because she probably realized she does care about him and didnt want him to want to break things off. The blame of this whole thing should be on the family (for freaking out when it is pretty obvious that fear of a wedding could have happened), the police (for getting involved earlier than they are supposed to), and the media (for making this story front page news).

Re: What, no one yet?
Nope, it a bug-eyed bride with the boo-hoo's who cooked up the whole scenario with her fiance to help finance their wedding, cause a media stir so she could get a movie-rights offer and live happily ever-after after she dumps the jerk-wad girly-man. Do I smell "sequel"???????

Re: What, no one yet?
As a note of interest, I stopped watching TV about a year ago, and I have heard absolutely nothing of this whole runaway bride thing except for passing mentions.
Wow, it's really been worth it

Re: What, no one yet?
It's sad that we have nothing better to report on than a girl with cold feet. It's more sad that she just sold the movie rights. But the kicker is that she made the money and we didn't. Off of that.

Re: What, no one yet?
Unconfirmed, but still a few media blurbs, heard on Fox news, she has something like 100K for the rights. WTF is right about that?????????? That's it, I launching a web-site, for runaway bug-eyes, on how to milk the media for movie rights. Ain't saying no more, sigh.

Re: What, no one yet?
Latest update, and I must be one sad sad mofo for being curious about bug-eye, but can we say 500K for the book and movie rights? WTF, it real, 500K, on news, and the bitch is on TV "promoting" her angst with no-balls fiancee. Hell, the dude has his own cut, and a separate deal, wait for the story to break, when real news gets slow.
That's it, I gonna propose to g/f, she gets all angsty, cruises, does her boo-hoo, we get media attention [orchestrated], and live happy apart with around 250K. I in the wrong career. |

Re: What, no one yet?
We can make fun of them if we want, but if they can get $$$ for a sappy story because a bunch of other schmucks will pay to see/read/hear it, then who's the bigger fool?
