97 GTP DIC light goes out when fan is on

Recently I was experiencing problems with my blower resistor, and I replaced that part. About a month after that was taken care of, this started to happen. Whenever I turn my fan to settings 1-4 my headlights go off and my DIC (Driver information center) goes off.Every once in a while, this works ok, so it seems like some kind of short. I haven't modified anything electrical. I recently cleaned the engine with engine degreaser, and that is around the time I became aware of the problem. Another problem is the gas gauge doesn't work properly. It may work one day and it may not the next.

Any help would be appreciated.

Richard
