Angry Installing cd player for a 00

Im trying to get a cd player for my 00 car since it only came with a tape deck. Im having a problem with people trying to rip me off. One place told me I needed such and such, while the other said no you don't but is charging me more than the other store. so i decided to do this myself. How hard is it to take out the old deck and install a new one? Any where I can find step by step instructions for my car? Thanks.

Re: Installing cd player for a 00

i will find the direct location on the site in the next post when i get to it (if you dont read this before i do it) but autozone.com will help you step by step on it. and trust me, its not that hard if you know some of the basicall electrics, and wiring, of course, they have connections to make that as just a click and go. just read up on a cd player you would like and go with it. make sure when you do, by the right deck holder to fit your car. get back to you on that other post later.
Cody.

Also, when you buy the cd player, get the wiring adaptors for your car, this will prevent you from having to cut the dash harness, and they usually come with all the wires labeled, which makes it much much easier to wire correctly.
