Keep High/Low beams on at same time

I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer with the 9005/9006 headlight setup. I wanted to know how to either re-wire the light switch to keep power going to both the high and low beams at once, or how to install a diode within the wiring to keep them both on at once. If anyone has done this, or knows how to do this it would be much appreciated, thanks a lot!

Re: Keep High/Low beams on at same time

I've heard that running both high and low beams at the same time. but it is nice to have if your in the woods a lot or just want to blind people of be cool. But i do know of a wiring kit that allows this. Just go so summitracing.com and you'll find it there. It should run you about 20 bucks and it's easy to install. But i would not suggest on making your own wiring kit. Very bad idea.

The only reason I plan on doing this mod is because I have an HID setup, and turning them on and off is terrible for the ballast and bulb life.

Re: Keep High/Low beams on at same time

I live in the stix and this is a great idea for me. I'm working on installing fog and driving lights too. You just have to remember to turn them off for others - it's really easy to forget. People get upset...
