PCV valve
How on earth do you get to the PCV valve on a 3.1L cutlass supreme engine?

Re: PCV valve
Your PCV valve is in the rear vavle cover. remove the two dogbone mounts in the front of the engine, tilt the engine forward (with a little assistance maybe, like a racheting strap, or a come-a-long). You'll be able to see it then. It just pulls out.

Do I need to disconnnect anything like the air duct or the coolant recovery bottle?

Re: PCV valve
Yep, you should definately move your air box out of the way. If your coolant recovery tank is in the front as opposed to on the side, I would move that too. Oh, and put your trans in neutral. You'll have a tug fest on your hands if you don't
