Buying 95 MX-6 4 cyl w/auto trans PLEASE

I'm looking at buying a 95 MX-6 in nearly new condition for my son. Are these decent cars? Are there recurring problems in this model? What kind of miles can you put on these without major problems? Any info/thoughts re problems or good aspects would be appreciated. Car is low mileage and has been maintained but I've read about tranny problems in Mazda's. Thanks for all responses as I need to make a decision today.

first of all dont invest into a 2.0 get the v6 and try to 5 speed, he'll thank you later. Next the car are really good, luxury and aftermarket. Yes the automatic tranny have there problem especially for the 2.0. There 5 speeds are better. Go with the mysterie or get a probe
