From looking at the service manual for my car (92 cutty) it looks like the only way to really tell (correct me if i'm wrong) is if there is a remote reciever under the seat-to-back window trim panel. An easier tell-tale sign would be to look for a soleniod that would release the trunk latch. Just open the trunk and look right above the latch; It should have a switch and a label that reads "remote release lockout"
