69 camaro project in works

hers a couple of shots of the painted body and hood

its testors transparent blue over a testors metallic purple basecoat. this is going to be my first attempt at sanding and polishing a model. so i hope it turns out good

thanks...now just gotta get gping on the rest of the kit.....gotta see if i can wedge a bigblock in there instead of the 302.....gonna leave the rallies on it

He asked because it looks like you can see white through the paint on the hood. But I'm guessing that's what that paint does when you use the flash on your camera.

ya trhe flash drowns out the paint....if you look at the first pic of the car...i covered half the flash up...thats how the paint iis supposed to look...plus i didnt have the cam on macro

YA its gonna get the z28 stripes...probably go withthe black ones....so they arent as noticeable...more subtle than in your face as the white ones would be on the dark blue. cool a big block looks cooler in these engine bays anyhow.
