okay i now i can get tamiya expoxy putty on the net put is there other kinds of putty that i can find in a hardware store like lowes or OSH cus i dont want to wait for the thing an also the hobby shop in my town suck ass they only got the shitty TESTORS putty which crumbles when i sand it even though i waited 2 days for it to dry

Bondo Ultimate I heard works. I dont use my putty too often though. Mainly styrene. It works much better, and lasts longer.

What do you plan to use this putty for? that would help in answering your question. are you filling small lines and mold dents or are you building up thick bits for fender flares, engine blocks etc...?

you can get the Bondo at Lowes/ Home Depot but dont use to much at one time because it is very hot and can melt plastic.

No. Plain and simple. Sure, you can use Bondo, or plumbers putty, or drywall spackle, or toothpaste, or anything else you can find at your local hardware store- but realisticly, it isn't going to be any better than Testors. It's always better to wait a couple of days for the right stuff than ruin your build because you were too impatient/cheap/lazy.

Hey i only use Bondo, use Glazing/spot putty, never shrinks or causes any problem, and dries in 10 mins.

it is this stuff right here, cost about $1.50 at any auto parts store, i tube should last a long time.

i have ordered some of this new stuff called POLYMORPH
that you have to heat up to 60 degrees celces and it sets in 10-15 minutes and if reuseable by reheating it costs £1.50 for 100gs

60 degrees ? doesnt that melt the plastic model too ? i use squadron putty small amount dry in 30mins, larger amounts i leave for 2 days to be sure, sands easily. no shrinkage, can melt plastic like large amounts of glue can.
