whats the best cam to get

i have a 93 chevy work truck 4'3 z code.. i need a cam i have roller lifters whats the best cam and where to buy it.. can i use the same lifters..any tricks in instaling it.. i have the old one out..

umm... if ya got the money, then keep doin the roller thing, if ya dont, get flat tappet. what i heard is that the best way to go is to get the biggest cam you can without having to replace the springs or stuff... if i was you lol i would start out by getting a high performance 350 from autozone for about 1100 i think. i heard that the 4.3 lasts forever tho so maybe not lol...

You could always check through Crane or Crower Cams. Most companies make decent cam shafts and should have a catalog to look through for your application.

thanks guys .. have the cam out sent for one from napa sealpower they sent the wrong cam.. tthree back lobs was wore on the old one..not enough to kick the valve open enough..
