Re: bolw off valve

.... The point of a BOV is to release boost when you let off the gas. Instead of a recirculating blow off valve, which puts that excess boost back into the intake manifold, the external BOV shoots it off in the atmosphere. I severly doubt that you can put a BOV on a n/a car. There is no boost in a n/a car. When you hit it in a n/a car, the vacuum just increases, the BOV would be useless and not producing any sound.

My advice, get the BOV from your friend and sell it heh.

OR you can just now go turbo with your car and use that BOV.

Re: bolw off valve

knowing from experience honda heads are ported enough, UNLESS you are going forced induction. save your money on a port job and buy high compresion pistons or nice cams. another idea go ls/vtec. I have a fully built and ported head, milled .035. my compression raised, and i gained no power from a ported head, BUT when i boost it i will get serious power. Porting for NA is not necessary.

Damn lying newbies...

Sure, go right ahead and put that BOV on your intake pipe. Do it just so everytime you pop your hood, you get laughed at by anyone near by.
