Question Is the Nitro TC3 steering rack bolt on to the Electric TC3??

Hey, You know how some people put the Nitro steering rack on the Electric TC3 for better steering, perfect ackerman, and less binding . Do you have to do anything on the regular TC3 chassis to fit the nitro TC3 steering rack on there or is just out with the old and in with the new??thankss

I think the site is gone, the one I knew about anyway, but there are a few small mods you have to do to the TC3 chassis to make it work. One was drilling holes for the new bellcranks, and the other was grinding down some of the chassis ribs for clearance.

Once you figure out have far apart to drill the mounting holes, you'll be able to see where the chassis needs to be ground for clearance.

yea thats what I was thinking because I was looking at the Nitro Steering rack mounted in the Nitro TC3 and it looked like it was further up from the servo than the Electric and the TC4's chassis uses the same type of steering rack, thats wat got me thinking I might have to sand down the chassis ribs. Do you know any sites where they tell you how to do it?? Thanks

Yes, you have to remove some chassis ribs to allow the NTC3 steering rack.
