RDS Radio mod

Couple more radio questions. Getting any information about these crappy GM radios is hard to come by.

Does anyone know if these RDS units have a reset button?

Does anyone know what part of the radio is essential for the chimes, safety features, and all of the other stuff for the OBDII Circuit?

The reason I ask is if I have to relocate this darn original head unit, then I sure as heck don't want to relocate the whole big bulky thing. I'd like to strip off the cd unit and any other non essential stuff and put it in the storage bin below the ashtray and aux. plug.

Does anyone have a wire colour code for the harness that plugs into the back of the radio?
