Question 91 Cavalier won't start

My car ran fine until 4 weeks ago. I went outside and tried to start it and it turned over great but would not start. I tracked it down to no spark and changed the ignition module. It started right up. Ran fine for 2 weeks and then same thing happened. I took the part back and exchanged it for a new one. When I first tried it it would not start. After putting on 2 new coils it still wouldn't start. Had someone help by turning it over while I looked to see if it was getting fuel. It wasn't. After sitting for about 3 hr's my brother gets in and I told him to turn it over and lo and behold the injector sprayed perfect and it started instantly. Now 2 weeks later I have the same problem. Amazingly enough the part store allowed me to exchange the IM again but no start. No fuel coming again. Is it safe to say the fuel pump is bad? The filter is only a year old. Anybody?

Re: 91 Cavalier won't start

Replace them both. At this point both will probably last the rest of the life of the car. Also, get some "SeaFoam" and dump that in your tank.
