This place has some nice stuff and I've bought from in the past and will again. I was happy with the service too.

Welcome to AF!

This is a great place to learn stuff about modeling, but two importaint points will help you get the most out of this group.

1. Ask specific questions. You'll get much better answers.

2. ALWAYS do whatever searching you can on your own before asking something.

Now that you have a screenname, you can use the AF search. There's an amazing amount if information here about building model cars here. The internet itself is also a terrific resource.

I'll give you a hint. Search for Hoppin Hydros. Find out everything you can, see if this meets your needs. After you've looked around, if you still have questions, then this is a great place to ask them.

For what car? How big? Functional or not? What do you want them to look like? Got any pics of what you want to do?

Off hand, I'd say the same way you scratch build susension components- various sized metal tubes, etc.
