I am attempting to remove the balancer on an 88 Delta 88 3800 VIN C, I am quite sure the bolt goes ccw to remove but now I am second guerssing myself....actually third and forth guessing is more appropriate :-) So am I correct in turning it off ccw as my 87 VIN 3 engine goes to remove????????
Thanks a bunch for the correct info........ |

Re: Harmonic Balancer Bolt Removal
It would be opposite of the engine rotation.

Re: Harmonic Balancer Bolt Removal
You are quite correct....I got it off yesterday.....it kind of fooled me as it was torqued to a million foot pounds or so :-)
