Talking front end leak

My front end on my 97 Z71 has developed a small leak and its getting on my nerves it is the seal on the drivers side where the flange or "yoke" (Where the cv axle bolts to) and goes into the front end itself...how hard is it to change this seal ?? any special tools i hope the front end dont have to come all apart like a local shop told me

I've only done the passenge side, but it's not hard. You have to remove the cv axle (or atleast disconnect at the differential), but the differential can be left in the vehicle.
