No its not true. I picked up girls all my life without any problem, then when I bought my BMW it stopped. But when I borrow my mothers 88 green Buick with white wall tires, curb feelers and all that, the girls just come running.

I think there may be some truth behind those rumors you hear. I am a young woman and also crazy about 3-series, and I can tell you everytime one passes by me I'm checking out the car along with the driver. It definitely turns my head, I'm sure others feel the same way. :sun:

:flash: I know that I have been asked to race guys and when I was in high school got a few head turns as I drove my parents BMW 325i around, but as for the girls attention, don't expect the same reaction. I think most girls (at least my friends) will be turning heads due to the driver in the car

it's not so much that driving a nice car itself gets you girls, but it helps you draw their attention, especially any car that looks different (ie classics, body kits, neons, ect) and, depending on what kind of person you are, gives you confidence, making it easier to talk, so...
