Possible tranny question help

ok here is the problem.
i have a 1995 olds eighty eight
as im driving and go to excelerate it seem slow and when im driving along you feel little bucking and then it drives fine then shortly it will do it again they arnt hard and jerky but still there anough for you to notice. the bucking is just one movement not a couple bucks just one. not sure if its slipping or what it seems to be getting worse each time we drive the car and funny thing is it just started doing it. can anyone throw out any ideas what it might be and if so what is the best and easiest way to fix it.

i hope it all made sense

Re: Possible tranny question help

Greetings! I am wonrering if you are having a fuel problem instead of transmisson problem? Have you ever changed your transmisson fluid/filter?Does the car seem to have this problem at slow speeds,Or at highway speeds? I would invest in a fuel pressure gauge an see what you fuel pump is doing.Had the same problem with a 94 Olds. That turned out to be a bad sparkplug wire.Probley would not hurt to check plugs and wires,And replace fuel filter.Let me know what you come up with..Diesel 1962

It very well could be an ignition related problem as state above.

- Spark Plugs (replace them now)
- Plug Wires (replace them now)
- Air Filter (do it now)

- Get igntion coils checked out at autozone for free
- check resistance on igntion coils with yours or someone elses dmm at cold and hot

doubt it is a filter in this case
