323iT automatic window/door lock problem

I am having a problem with my 323iT sport wagon's windows and door locks. The windows will (all of them, incl. sunroof) open on their own (usually in the rain or when its parked on a city street, yep both happened). Also the doors will automatrically lock themselves, either right after I unlock usuing the key or at some later point.

Any ideas on what could be wrong would be most appreaicted! Help would be greatly appreciated as the shop that is looking at it us stumped!

It sounds as though the key is faulty.

sounds like the general modual (controls all body funtions)
take it to bmw dealer and have checke for gm faults and it may need replaced its about $500 for the gm plus install and codeing.
