For a temporary fix, On my 97 they will turn off if I gently push the parking brake one click.

the daytime runnig light module is a little grey box above the e-brake pedal, find the green/black wire from it and cut it and install a toggle switch on it that way you can turn the output on or off (if there are two green/blacks they both go to the same output from the module cut both as they are the same wire)

I recently purchased a 2004 2500HD 4x4. I noticed the DRL are not coming on, I checked the fuse and it is good. My question is am I missing something on this model, I checked the bulbs and they are good also!

UPDATE!! Finally had the problem fixed with the DRL's. The service tech at my local dealer ran test and determined that the bulb sockets had overheated and burned out. He replaced both the sockets and bulbs! Thanks for all the advise! myricke, |
