For those who appreciate unique, modified Hondas, this 1991 EF hatch is for you! From the pictures in reader's ride page 2, it now has a few more upgrades:

New exhaust and muffler - Custom modified for better flow (see below)
New set of wheels and even bigger tire in the rear (see below)
New Battery

In its last years of production, the DX (manual) version is still considered a light weight by today's standard at <2400 lbs. Started with a 1.5L SOHC, I have replaced it with a JDM ZC 1.6 DOHC (130HP). With various upgrades and a light weight diet, I am estimating 160whp+/- = One quick ride! It's my baby, always garaged but Wife says car has to go - one toy car too many!

- JDM ZC engine with approx. 30K with full head rebuilt at the same time of installation with new H2O pump and belts at 34K. Car now has only 55K! -Just a little oil leak from the distributor but can easily be use as a daily driver without any problems!

-New wires and plug (iridium spark plugs!)
- A/C deleted for weight saving (30lbs) and more usable HP!
- Lightened Flywheel (approx. 10lbs.) = faster throttle response, this engine loves to rev!
- After market lightened lower pulley = makes more HP and less stress on the engine.
- Short shift kit + Air intake kit (hot and cold included) = faster shifts and more HP from cold denser air
- Custom Grant Steering wheel with quick release hub for storage and security- No steering wheel = best passive security system one can get!!!
- Adjustable Cam Gears- tunable to make more power at Mid to Upper RPM range
- Custom Gude Cams (she's a screamer from 3K to 7550 RPM fuel cut off)
- PG7 ECU for power and daily drivability
- 10K tach with light, Air/Fuel ratio, and water Temp white guages
- Aiwa CD player, not working but radio and auxilary input does for ipod or MP3
- Custom mounted tweeters and custom mount rear 6x9 speakers in seat back
- Lowered with Intrax springs
- Rear tower brace to improve handling
- Custom exhaust piping, muffler with dual resonators (Sounds nice, not raspy)
- Custom Blue Metallic paint - front bumper got your typical rock chips but other wise looks fine from 10 feet away
- Custom fitted Buddy Club kit - fender flares all around to accomodate 18s!
- Custom body metal flairs (fronts) to accommmodate 18X7.5s JDM Nakayamas
- 225 x 40 x 18 fronts 245 X 40 X18 rears!!!
- Custom one off LED rear tail lights (looks elegant and racy not like APCs)
- Custom header wraps to increase exhaust flow = more torque


Lots of extras will be include in the sale: ZC cams, TB body, ZC top end complete, any original items that I have left in the garage…these can be used as a back up, ebay or to modified for more power! Make me an offer...I have invested over $10K into this project but I am not looking to get everything back- just want the hatch to go to the right owner who will be able to use it more and take good care of it as I did.
