The basic GTO kit is okay, it's full-detail but a bit crude in areas. W/a little work it looks quite acceptable, but there are inherent problems w/Polar Lights prepainted/predecorated kits.

The picture I've seen of the so-called "drift car" they're doing looks hideous. It is in no way like the real car from the drift series. Instead, it's merely a horribly riced pre-printed graphics package on the basic '05 kit w/a goofy and toy-like rear GT wing-they tooled up a new '05 hood, front and rear fascias, and the correct dual exhaust. There's a stock '05 coming as well. I'll get the stock '05 version; the drift version is never going to see my workbench.

If you're looking for a good/accurate drifter, this one will leave you .

The picture is in an album of the Polar Lights prototypes, and the person asked specifically not to post pics as they are a consultant for RC2/Polar Lights. PM me and I can send a link. It's not a pretty sight .

I'm going to have to agree with Bob here on the "toy" like appearance of the Drift Version.
Although I will buy two of them as I will be buildig the GTO-R version.
I think with a little work it will look fine. But, again, as Bob mentioned they need to do a little more work. The directions are a very sad excuse.
The quality is their, but work on some other areas needs to be addressed.
Chris
