Just a Clean BMW Z8

Hi guys, I have not been post for a while and here is my latest works. Revell had made the Z8 looks pretty good and catch the shape except for the way that how the chassis and the body are installed. They are not fitted properly and need to use some tools to make them fits together brutely. It is also lowered about 1mm in order to make the wheel gap less noticeble.

I saw people debating Revell and Tamiya on AF and I think Revell is still not yet comparable to Tamiya or even Fujimi in details. Also, fitting is another problem. You can still make a good model out of it but detailwise, its still Tamiay's world.

Here you go:

yah, the fit actually sucks.... I can point out some more stuff that Revell need to improve

1.) Some studs are bigger than the holes and u need to shave the studs a bit to make it fits
2.) The headlight cover has no frosted area to guide you painting the surrounding
3.) Decals missing for the "Z8" signs between the seats
4.) Chrome part sucks...

I can keep the list on.. hahah

Nice job on it, the color was meant for this car. I too built one awhile back, and since the detail and fitment was very poor, i decided to try my hand at airbrushing, and i have been airbrushing ever since
