Post Will not start at all.

Hi, I have a Corolla 1992 with a 16 valve EFI engine and this car has a 3 speed Trans without overdrive. It also is a 4 door car. The problem is no spark at any of the sparkplugs. Brain box and coil ok and timing belt ok to. The engine turns over good. Also Sparkplugs wires new and Disb. cap new. What could the problem be?

Thanks, Terry

Re: Will not start at all.

Well if the coil is OK and the timing belt is ok, it must be in the rotor under the distributer cover or the distributor cap. Are you sure it is getting fuel?

An inductive timing light clamped on the plug wires with the plugs installed, will indicate weather or not you're getting spark. If you are you need to detirmine if you are getting fuel to the engine..fuel pump relay, fuse.....

I forgot to mention that ignition module - the black module under the distributor. Youy are not calling this the brain box, are you?
