1990 drivers seat inop
Hi, my 1990 Q45 drivers seat wont move. It worked fine when i took it to a dealer for servicing and now its dead. They claim the motor is dead, and that its a specific part to just the 1990 model year. My question is... why does nothing on the seat work, since theres more than 1 motor! Is there a relay or something I could check?

Check the obvious first
Did you check the cancel switch on the steering column?

Re: 1990 drivers seat inop
I had this happen to the passenger side - everything on the seat was dead. I found through the dianostic (interior diagnostic process) that the control module in the door was bad. Dealer wanted $450 for another one. I bought one on ebay for $25.....took care of it. I cannot speak for the 90 model, however.
