Wish you could do this to the cops?

Do you wish you were this good to do to the cops?

P.S. If it was an '03 Cobra he wouldn't of been caught.

Yeah that video was on here a while ago, it's cool but woulda been better if he had something that had some balls in it, everytime he started back up he went nowhere. You never see anybody running from the cops in nice fast cars, it's always POS's, most of the time anyway. I think Cops should show the videos of the fast cars that get away.

if they have a video of it, the guy didnt get away. Even if he managed to run then, he still got caught later

Re: Wish you could do this to the cops?

Repost -

Cops should be allowed to shoot people who lead them on high-speed pursuits on public roads. I don't care if he's Mario Freaking Andretti - he's putting innocent people in danger. How'd you like for a cop to come to your front door and tell you that your mother or your sister is "dead because some stupid idiot didn't want to pull over, but he did a lot of neat stunts in his car before he killed your sister!"

No, I don't wish I could do that to the cops - I wish the cops would park a .45 caliber (or 9mm) in that guys forehead.

Re: Wish you could do this to the cops?

Reverse argument...if the cops didn't chase the guy, he wouldn't have run and felt the need to escape. Thats why I think that anytime someone feels the need to run from the cops, unless hes like a major wanted criminal or something, not just a kid in a fast car, to let him go.

Oh, and I dont have a sister, Im an only child (Yippy). Also, I dont think a 9mm would do anything, as we all now the 9mm is nothing more than a .45 set to "stun".

...and if criminals were just allowed to steal, rob and rape without consequence they wouldn't have to kill or otherwise harm their innocent victims and we'd all be happier!

OK - substitute "sister" for mother, father, cousin, uncle, aunt, friend, neighbor...anyone in your life who you would miss if they were to be killed suddenly by someone trying to avoid a traffic ticket.

Re: Wish you could do this to the cops?

A 9mm is far off from a .45. What the 9 lacks in stopping ability it makes up for in penetration. With a 9 you could shoot through one person into another. The cops are actually moving toward the newer .40 to replace the 9mm because it dosn't penetrate so well, its less likely to hit an innocent bystander.

Re: Wish you could do this to the cops?

OK, so now let's try this just to be devil's advocate.

How'd you like for a cop to come to your front door and tell you that he put a 9mm bullet in your son's forehead, "because he didn't want to pull over and lose his new license for rolling through a stop sign"

Not to mention, a cop firing at a speeding car isn't exactly safe for innocent bystanders either...is it?

Re: Re: Wish you could do this to the cops?

If I had a son, and he initiated a police chase because he rolled thru a stop sign and they tried to pull him over, I'd shoot him myself. Not only that, I'd deny ever knowing the little bastard. Then I'd tell the cops that his mom is a ho and we don't really know who the father is.

Obviously I don't have any kids. I'd be a shitty parent for sure. But if I had to raise a kid, he'd learn to respect people. I wouldn't really care that the cops are after him, but if he did anything to endanger innocent civilians...

I just don't have sympathy for people who think they can make their situation better by running. They aren't even aware of the danger they are creating, they are only concerned about not going to jail - and always end up full of regret later after they're busted.

BTW - I don't really think cops should be allowed to shoot people for running, but they should be allowed to beat them up or kick them in the nuts or something.
