Cleaning Painted Plastic

I recently purchased a 2003 325i and absolutely love the car. I have noticed one thing though. The black plastic strip that is at the rear of both front windows has a little discolorization. I am sure it is caused by grabbing the black strip to close the door.

Any idea what to use to make is shine?
