Why does it bother you? I'm not on my space, but I'm on facebook, which is for those who attend college or alumni. I think the overall concepts of such things are rather cool. Good way to keep in touch with old friends.

^^ I agree it is a good way to keep in contact with your friend or reach someone with a message rather then email..I use it cause it keeps me busy at work as does AF and other car fourms I post on. I dont use myspace to pick up chicks like most of my friends. Here is mine

Myspace and xanga are nice when people arn't addicted and have 100+ freaking Ebuddies. Pisses me off. They all sit on there computers with internet in there houses in there 50 dollar torn up tight jeans writing about how there life is a waste and they will never grow up to be anything and they will never be accepted. I have a myspace. I keep in touch with and get in contact with friends I've lost contact with. I think its great. I may not have the urge to talk to them every day, but it's cool to be able to ask my high school friends how they are doing every once in a while.

and if I happen to meet chicks then hey... cool, cant complain about meeting chicks. unless they're busted. But my personal vote on that is just sit and act like a boring fucker until you both split, then never talk to her again. I'd never hit it if the chick is wack.
